Did you know that Google already offers RSS feeds for Blogsearch results? On my site now if you need a little more info.

But think about this: What if Google added a FriendConnect widget to Google blogsearch? IT could be easily done since each search term now carries it's own RSS feed.

This could be the start of social features in Google search, especially blogsearch.

You could make social friends, chat through comments in FriendConnect and add friends to your Google network right in Blogsearch.

Nice idea, Chris. That would integrate BlogSearch nicely with Blogger, add in topic groups and voting and there's a ready-made social network with automatic submission.

There are also RSS feeds for Google News searches, which could be integrated like you say but maybe Google have got into enough trouble with dead-tree publishers for reproducing their content!
